The tips of the Langer curette have double cutting edges which are angled at 90° with respect to the surface to be treated; the shanks, however, are angled in the way that is typical of Gracey curettes. The angles make it easier to access even the most difficult areas. This allows the mesial and distal surfaces to be treated with the same tip.
