Polyester Strip
Its purpose is to confine the restorative material inside the cavity under pressure, preventing excess material from entering the interproximal space. It acts as a physical barrier, enabling proper restoration of the tooth wall and recovery of the contact point. Its transparency allows light to pass through during the polymerization of the restorative material.
